The N’Djamena Declaration Turns Water Commitments Into an Institutional Test
Adopted after the African Water Forum meeting on 15–16 July 2026, the N'Djamena Declaration calls for Water Compacts connecting investment priorities, reforms, financing needs, partner contributions, and coordination. Its implementation model links budgets with indicators, periodic review, and results reporting, with transboundary cooperation and institutional performance as priorities.
